Heaton Park 5k and 10k

Thanks to everyone that helped to organise and take part in the Heaton Park 5k &10k Run. Well done everyone... it was a great achievement and it looks like you all kept the smiles on your face!! We hear everyone particularly enjoyed the early morning training sessions led by Rob Johnson. The t-shirts looked great too!!

A special thanks to Rob M, Thomas and Rob J for organising/t-shirts/training/hosting post drinks. Sorry if we've forgotten anyone else who helped... I'm sure there were!

We know you guys have lots of events planned, so thank you from us all! It's amazing what you are doing!!

Maggie's 50 - June 2015

This event raised an amazing £2043 to assist Brain Tumour Research. This is the highest amount so far!!

A message from George, a great friend of Maggie's, who puts so much time and effort into this event every year - thank you:

"This has been achieved not only by all the riders and helpers on what was such a rainy day, but also by the very generous donations many of which were made online direct into the Maggie Harvey Trust Website. Its humbling to know there are so many generous people in Barford St Michael and the surrounding areas. These also included Maggie’s friends from Bannatyne’s, Rathcreeden Lodge members, the Valley Girls, Jess Latham-Ward, and Rachel Reeves.

Thank you so much!!! – and -  See you next year!!!"

So many people took the opportunity to raise awareness of the Maggie Harvey Trust, through the ice bucket challenge. We're sure that you saw someone do it and suffer the shock of the ice.

The Maggie Harvey Trust Black Tie and Tiara Ball - Nov 2013

For 3 years Karen, with help from Elaine and others, has been organising and running an amazing event where Maggie's old work colleagues, and friends, get together and don their best attire to eat, drink, bid and dance the night away.

The Halloween bake - Oct 2013

Maggie's friend, Elaine, took advantage of her baking skills and made halloween extra sweet whilst raising funds.
